Meet our CEO
Allen Ng
Venture veteran turned crypto enthusiast, Allen has participated in the making of over a dozen renowned TMT unicorns, start-ups and blockchain projects across the globe since 2012.
As a VC, he has invested $100m across frontier technologies, ranging from autonomous driving, health-tech, fin-tech to blockchain. As an operator, he has co-founded, scaled, spun-off, merged, sold multiple award-winning companies. As an advisor, he has helped multiple start-ups to secure investment, M&A and partnership. Allen holds a B.B.A in CUHK.

Jerome Wong

Investment banker turned crypto rainmaker, Jerome has contemplated deals across stages and sectors in Asia. Prior to cofounding Everest, Jerome was the Principal of T-Capital and worked in the Investment Banking Division of HSBC and UBS. In addition, Jerome advises his family’s real estate and art business in Greater China. Jerome holds a B.A. in International Politics and minor in Psychology in Peking University.

Ruby Cheng

Ruby led the Product Strategy in Guru Online, Focus Media backed agency in China with 300 social media specialists. She was also an Associate Director of Glo Media, representing New York Times in China, as well as the APAC Corporate Marketing Manager of Equinix (Nasdaq: EQIX). In her early career, Ruby was a senior specialist in a prestigious PR firm in HK, where she managed the PR for multiple renowned politicians, families and tycoons in HK. Ruby holds a BA, Communications, CityU HK.

Holly Hao

Holly is the expert of payment system, scalability and high concurrency architecture design. He was a Senior Architecture at Yeahmobi with 3+ years of experience in blockchain. Prior to that, he was the Senior Developer at Alipay and Alibaba, where he led the development of payment settlement and security architecture. Holly holds a M.S. degree in Chinese Academy of Science.

Angus Ko

Angus is an investment banker turned Web 3 enthusiast. Prior to joining EVG, Angus was focused on technology PE/VC transactions and fund placements at Bright Minds Capital. He was previously with Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong and Brown Brothers Harriman in New York. He holds an M.S. in Finance from the University of Rochester and a B.S. in Economics and Finance from the University of Hong Kong.

Joyce Yim

Joyce is a corporate lawyer turned Web3 operator. Prior to joining EVG, Joyce worked on multiple headline IPOs and capital markets transactions at Linklaters and managed the first SPAC listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Joyce holds a BSc in Government from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Hong Kong.

Elliot Andrews, CFA

Elliot has over a decade of experience in the financial technology industry and was most recently Head of Asia Pacific at Dealogic. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds both Lan and Finance degrees from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

Sean Tao

Prior to joining Everest, Sean was the Project Lead in Gifto, a renowned entertainment d-app that raised $25m and traded in all major exchanges. He also led the user acquisition of Asia Innovations Group (UpLive, Super Fans, PengPeng, Orcalive) as Marketing Lead and grew the total MAUs to over 100 million across Asia. Sean is a Taiwanese and holds a B.A. in International Politics and Economy in Peking University.

Andy Lee

Gaming veteran turned Web3 builder, Andy previously shipped and operated six mobile game titles at Tencent Games, of which all games had 1m+ daily active users (DAU) and generated multi-million US dollars of revenue. He also led Tencent's expansion into India, where he launched multiple games for the market. As an innovation driver, he also led new initiatives in privacy computing, digital banking and SaaS at WeLab, a leading FinTech unicorn in Asia, and expanded into the Indonesian market. At the early stage of his career, he was an investment analyst at Merrill Lynch. Andy graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Economics and Statistics.
